These two ended their last weekend in Charleston with a cozy in-home session with me before packing up and heading to surf the west coast!
When Sophia and Jesse reached out asking if we could end their time in Charleston with one last couples session of course I said yes! We decided to go all out and rent the Southern Shangri-La AIRBNB in historic downtown Charleston, South Carolina. The house offered a modern twist on bohemian decor that fit the perfect vibe we were looking for. When I chatted with Sophia and Jesse before our session they said they wanted to capture the essence of their relationship.
I met Sophia and Jesse a while back and was able to shoot with them previously which made our connection even stronger. I wanted to capture their adventurous personalities so they can look back and remember their time they spent in this beautiful little city. They told me all about their love story and specific moments they have cherished the most. The day was nothing short of perfect! Sparks were flying and the energy in the room was immaculate between these two!
After our in-home engagement session we got to hangout and had a beer together talking about life and all of their endeavors they wanted to achieve on the west coast. Little did I know I would receive some incredible news only a month and a half after our session… When Jesse posted the photos on Instagram from our session he revealed that Sophia was pregnant! I cannot believe the timing of everything and am so incredibly happy I got to capture their closing chapter in Charleston that turned into the start of a whole new stage of life for them.
