The story of how Natalie and Brittain met is absolutely adorable. When they reached out to me and told me all about their story and what they had planned for their wedding day I was so excited to get the chance to capture their special day!
Brittain was born in Alaska and made the decision to attend college in Virginia. Natalie was a year behind him and ended up touring the same college a year later when the two first laid eyes on each other. They had such a natural connection from the start but never thought it would go anywhere until they both went back home to their home states they realized they were inseparable. Brittain became a full time pilot in Alaska and flew Natalie out to Homer, Alaska and proposed to Natalie along the beach.
Natalie is from Florida, but the two of them have such an admiration for Charleston they decided to stay in the historic city at a cute modern AIRBNB where their venue, Upstairs at Midtown, was only a couple blocks away at a rooftop on King St. Natalie chose to have a first look with her father, mother, and sister. The special moments they shared together were so touching and softhearted.
To say their wedding day was magical is such an understatement. Everything from the venue to the decor was so stunning. After their ceremony I took them down to King St. where they ran through the streets and stopped traffic. People were cheering and congratulating them as they walked through the city on their magical day.
